Star Alliance has opened its first lounge in Asia at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) in Guangzhou, China.The lounge, which opened on November 21, is available to First and Business Class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold status customers on member airline flights departing from Terminal 1.
It is located in the special area of the CAN lounge on the upper level in the international area of Terminal 1, near the departure gates.
The lounge has an open layout and offers 750 square meters of space, accommodating up to 100 guests.
It includes business facilities such as workstations, comfortable seating and shower facilities.There is also a 100m2 VIP room for groups or private business meetings available upon request.
Guests can enjoy a variety of food options with light bites and regional cuisine served throughout the day. There is also a dedicated bar counter where travelers can enjoy drinks specially designed for the lounge.
The 24-hour lounge accommodates travelers with varying schedules.
Ten Star Alliance member airlines operating from Guangzhou include Air China, ANA, Asiana Airlines, EgyptAir, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways and Turkish Airlines.
