FlySafair has been recognized as the most punctual airline in the Middle East and Africa region in 2024, with 93.82% of its flights arriving on time.
That’s according to aviation analytics company Cirium, which analyzed more than 25 million data points a day from more than 600 sources to determine whether airlines are meeting their arrival times.
A flight is considered on-time if it arrives within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled landing.Only airlines that exceed the operating size and regional diversity threshold are eligible for the global ranking.
AeroMexico was the world’s most punctual international airline, while FlySafair beat global majors such as Qatar Airways, Etihad and Emirates to claim the top spot in the Middle East and Africa region.
According to Cirium, FlySafair is also the most on-time regional airline in 11 of the 12 months to 2024.
