Moz unrest disrupts air services


Airlink has announced that some of its Johannesburg and Cape Town services to Maputo will be suspended and/or combined due to the unrest in Mozambique. The airline says it will continue to monitor the situation daily and make any necessary adjustments to schedules, and customers will be notified via app or SMS. through Overnight flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg to Maputo and early morning departures from Maputo to the two SA cities are currently affected as of December 24. Normal services are expected to resume as soon as the situation around Maputo Airport permits.

Airlink says none of its other Mozambique services – Beira, Naampula, Pemba, Tete or Vilanculo – are currently affected.
