Explora Journeys has revealed the latest details about its newest ship, Explore IIIthe debut is scheduled for 2026.
The ship will be bigger than Study I and: Study II and will have 463 Ocean Suites, Penthouses and Residences.The cruise line claims the ship will offer guests more space than ever with a guest-to-space ratio of 18.7 square meters.
Explora Journeys will feature more of its higher end categories on this ship, with Ocean Penthouses making up 24% of the ship’s inventory and Ocean Residences making up 9% of the ship’s inventory.The ship will also feature an additional owner’s residence.
This will be the cruise line’s first ship powered by LNG, and will be equipped with shore power capabilities and energy efficiency features to further reduce its environmental impact.
For its inaugural season, Explore III will sail to northern Europe, Iceland and Greenland before exploring the east coast of North America and moving to the Caribbean for the 2026/2027 winter season.
The ship will feature a spa and fitness center with an outdoor fitness area on Deck 14, an extended running track on Deck 12, and an expanded sports playground with pickleball, rowing and basketball.
Meeting and event spaces will be available on Deck 11. The spaces can be divided into three separate rooms suitable for business events, functions and video conferencing.
